Owen Evans, Creative Copywriter at AWA Manchester, has been shortlisted in the prestigious FAB awards, an international creative awards programme focussed entirely on work done for food and beverage brands.

Owen’s work ‘OLIVE OIL’ has been nominated for a FAB Futures award, a category reserved for entries from creatives aged under 30.

The winners of the awards will be announced at a spectacular ceremony being held at The Hurlingham Club in London on 22nd May.

This is the 10th year of the International Food and Beverage Creative Excellence Awards. Clients, every major agency network and a number of smaller agencies from over 60 countries are among the entrants who have been recognised since the awards were introduced.

FAB Agency of the Year in 2007 was AMV BBDO London. Awards went to firms from 10 different countries.

AWA creative director Pete Johnston said: "This is a major awards scheme and Owen’s nomination demonstrates the depth of creative talent we have at AWA".
