BRIGHT IDEAS GO TO WASTE AT MANCHESTER ADVERTISING AGENCY

A campaign from Manchester advertising and marketing services agency AWA Manchester is introducing public sector decision makers to a new service being offered by FTSE 100 company United Utilities.

United Utilities Waste Management Strategic Partnership offers a variety of waste management solutions to help local authorities reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.

AWA Manchester devised an advertising campaign to support the service as well as a creative theme to promote it at the SOLACE Annual Conference 2008.

The SOLACE (Society of Local Authority Chief Executives and Senior Managers) Conference is attended by senior decision makers from across the public sector, many of whom may not be familiar with the range of services offered by United Utilities.

AWA Manchester’s campaign is called “We’ve got some bright ideas for your waste.”

The theme has been used across trade press advertising, in conference literature, on the United Utilities stand at the event and at various road shows being held around the UK.
